• Built in 1968, The Lobby Restaurant is the oldest running restaurant in Canberra and offers nothing short of the most personalized and attentive dining experience in Canberra. The restaurant is wrapped in three walls of floor to ceiling glass allowing a view of Old Parliament House and lush sculptured gardens and retains the magnificent original high ceiling made from polished timber slats. Outside is the original stone cobbled terrace surrounded by beautiful gardens and our tree lined courtyard overlooking the National Rose Gardens.
  
  The restaurant is elegant with crisp white linen, fresh posies of flowers and at night the candles are reflected in the glass giving an enchanted feel to the restaurant.
  
  Over the years we have catered to both the large and small weddings at The Lobby, and at locations all over Canberra and its surrounds. The Lobby's catering is second to none and can be arranged for almost any venue.
