• Couran Point Island Beach Resort, located on pristine South Stradbroke Island, is a unique venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions. 
  
  Our open-aired thatched garden wedding chapel is set amongst the native Livistonia palms just 15 metres from the lagoon beach.
  
  Our reception venue, Sunsetter’s Restaurant, has large sliding windows and doors overlooking our tropical pool and gardens.  There is a downstairs area that can seat up to 70 guests and an upstairs mezzanine level that can seat a further 50 guests. The outdoor paved poolside area is an ideal location for your guests to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes as the sun sets.  The area is surrounded by tropical gardens with outdoor lanterns enhancing the relaxed ambience.
  
  STAY OVERNIGHT... Nestled within the native trees overlooking towards our tranquil marina, Couran Point Island Resort offers 32 well appointed resort style rooms for your overnight stay.  An hour’s cruise from Marina Mirage, Main Beach and you reach our Island getaway.
